What is steaming?

Steaming means that ingredients are cooked gently so that vitamins and color are preserved, making this technique perfect for vegetables, meat and fish. With the steaming insert and attachment, you can easily steam ingredients on up to three levels at the same time and benefit from more vitamins, nutrients and flavour.

The Cookit makes it is possible to cook different ingredients simultaneously on three levels.

The steaming insert offers 1.5 liters of space for steaming and poaching.

The steaming attachment offers additional capacity, increasing the Cookit’s usable volume by 4.7 liters. This allows around 2.4 kg of medium-sized potatoes to be steamed.
